AC Master Slave Strobe

This very inexpensive strobe installs in any standard light socket, and provides a reasonable alternative to professional models. The one shown here can be triggered by an on camera flash, or by a sync cable (if your camera has that feature). The light holder, which was purchased separately is a convenient way to position the strobe, as it clamps to nearly any light stand. While not shown, it also has an umbrella clamp; a handy feature. If your camera lacks a flash sync terminal, then an on camera flash will be used to trigger the strobe. To avoid the harsh light of the on camera flash, it can be set to its lowest setting (if this feature is available on your camera) or diffusion filter, such as a LumiQuest Soft Screen can be placed in front of it.
