New York/New Jersey c.1810

Mahogany, Satinwood, Ebony, Poplar, Cherry, Eastern White Pine.

Features: Scrolled crest moldings ending in brass rosettes. Tympanum with ogee shaped inlaid central plinth, flanked by bookend inlays at edges. Semi circular door molding with inlaid keystone. Hood Door flanked by turned and reeded columns, with brass fittings. Frieze, below upper waist molding, inlaid with conch shells. Waist door with shaped top, satinwood edge, inclosing rope inlaid oval, with urn paterae. Panel below waist door inlaid with eagle paterae, surrounded by rope inlay. Rope inlaid plinths below line inlaid columns with turned base and capitol. Base with inlaid satinwood edge. Central pinwheel inlay, enclosed by circular rope inlay, which is in turn enclosed by line inlaid panel with  coved upper corners, over scrolled base.
