Photo set up
The light stand to the left of the camera will have its light aimed with a hand held piece of white foam board. The light from the other stand is bounced off both the ceiling and the wall ( or a piece of foam board if they were too far away) This put more light on the leaf and gave some depth to the table. The halogen light on the floor to the left of the camera will have its light reflected off an umbrella (not shown). You can see that the light above and behind the table is showing a wrinkle in the backdrop paper a foot or so above the table; I will have to fix that before taking the shot. In addition to the ambient light in the room, I have 2000 watts lighting the scene. Note that the shadow cast on floor is more or less centered under the table and when the foam board is used to light the edge of the table, it will eliminate the odd shadow behind the rear left hand leg.
